Getting Complicated! Making a Short Gusseted Zip Snap Wallet (with Pattern)

This is a bit more of a complicated leather crafting build, but we think everyone is ready! We’re also not sure what to call it haha.

This wallet design is kind of a short pouch style wallet, with leather gussets that allow the wallet to open fairly wide and hold lots of stuff. This leather wallet has a zipper pouch, two open slots and two dedicated card slots, though it will easily hold 20 cards or lots of folded paper money.

We made this leather wallet using a tumbled vegetable tanned leather which is really helpful as it’s a bit more flexible. You can use an exterior wallet shell that is a bit more sturdy to add some structure, or you can use the same tumbled leather for a more flexible wallet. Enjoy!
